What Happens After Signup and More Details on Installed Services

Just to reiterate to make sure everyone is on the same page, upon the submission of the enrollment form, GNP will automatically register the website name and set up the website with the fully deployed customized website template and community forums. The site will come fully functional so no web design work is immediately required although it is expected everyone will want to edit the included content pages for their needs. Even the tracking code is preinstalled in the websites as they are set up. An email will be sent to the primary contact for your organization that contains a summary of usernames, passwords, and settings for your records.

If a local organization already has an existing website, they have a choice to stay with their current host or move to GNP. They are able to use their affiliate tracking link and earn commissions on referrals to GNP no matter who is hosting their site. Those electing to repoint their site to our servers will experience no downtime during the move and will be in total control of when the switch takes place and have plenty of time to make sure all of the files were moved over correctly. This process works very smooth for everyone involved.

Community Forums - This is a message board system which has multiple functions. This message board will be set up automatically for all new local organizations and has very good built in help. A master administrator menu allows full customization of every feature to the point that it could get a bit confusing. We would advise that you tackle the learning curve on the message board once you finish your editing of the main website itself. Since there is extensive documentation built in, please take some time and review this documentation prior to contacting the BPW Support Desk. The message board will come preconfigured to automatically allow members to instantly register their profile and begin posting so there is no urgency to customizing this high end feature.

Calendar of Events - This is a component of the Community Forums. You can set this to allow anyone to update the calendar (which we recommend if there is no abuse of the privilege) or assign specific privileges to users to update the calendar. The calendar automatically list birthdays (but not the year of birth!).

Membership Profile - This is a component of the Community Forums. All registered community members have their own profile which can be customized, hidden, and reveal as much or as little about themselves as desired. This is a great opportunity for members with their own business to give themselves a 'plug' and also give background information about themselves which would allow others to get to know them better without having to ask directly. You may be amazed at some of the backgrounds and talents of your members they never had a chance to share with you before!

Web Control Panel - In addition to the Community Forums control panel, there is a master website control panel located at: http://(yoursite.com)/admin

The username and password will be provided for you. There is also an excellent built in help
for managing the website in a step by step format. A direct link to the web control panel help page for your site is:   https://66.98.194.55:19638/docs/en_US/site/
Click 'yes' if you see a popup window about being over a secure connection.
*NOTE* If you have a firewall that does not have access to port 19638 open, you will get a blank page. Allow access to Port 19638 to resolve this rare issue.

Email Accounts - All members can have their own email account. You may add their email account via the web control panel and review the initial setup welcome email for settings used by Outlook Express, Eudora, MSN, etc.

Statistics - All accounts may access their statistics via http://(theirname.com):8080 with the user/pass we provide at setup. We even detail the keywords used to find your site and track which search engines are sending visitors your way!

Your primary support is via the BPW Support Desk at http://www.bpwonline.com/support/index.php

During the initial start up phase responses may be slower than normal simply due to high volume.
Typically you can expect a response within an hour once the initial rush slows down.
The built in knowledge base will be constantly expanding so be sure to search the knowledge base
at http://www.bpwonline.com/support/faq.php to see if what you are looking for has already been
answered. We will do our best to make sure that helpful reference links and information are
available for you to locate the answers you seek with minimal effort.

Thank You for your participation and welcome to the Globalnet GNP network!
